EGEM has been operating in the energy market since 1995. We utilize some of the best employees whose qualifications include outstanding excellence coupled with long practical experience in the field of engineering, contracting and erection activities, especially in the power transmission and distribution sector in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. We have managed to complete a vast array of important projects in our history, reconstruction of distribution substations for Sokolnice transformer stations 245 and 420 kV for ČEPS, a.s. and the Řeporyje transformer station 110 kV for ČEZ, a. s.

We have also undergone a number of organisational changes. In 2009, we merged with EGE-ENERGOVOD, s.r.o. to extend our service portfolio with engineering, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of EHV and HV outdoor transmission lines (110, 220 and 400 kV). With this step, EGEM significantly strengthened its status not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the foreign market.

Our primary goal is to satisfy our customers, putting a strong emphasis on the quality of our services. Our Quality Management System is certified by the Lloyd’s Register and complies with the requirements of CSN EN ISO 9001:2001. We are also the holders of relevant certificates in the field of Environmental Management System pursuant to CSN EN ISO 14001:2005 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System pursuant to OHSAS 18001:2007.

To consistently fulfil our vision – to be a leader of the Czech energy market in the field of engineering, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of distribution substations, power stations and EHV and HV transmission lines  – we continue to develop and offer further above- standard solutions and procedures for our customers.
